Enter Zuze'en, Mother of Wisdom, Goddess of the Dawn.

The Hawk Maidens are consecrated to Zuze'en, and in a land where gods directly feed from the devotion of their worshippers, the awakening of seven true warriors in her name is certainly not going to be ignored :)

But don't worry, Zuze'en has a hands-off approach to deity-ing, She won't win the battle for the girls, but having their patron goddess on their side will certainly even the playing field. I colored Zuze'en different than the rest of the page, in a more painterly style that I hope comes through.
