And 'tis a bonus update! One thing I've been congratulating myself lately is giving the girls both uniform and standard-issue armor... it makes the coloring a lot faster (which is making me dread the next chapter a little... but I get waaaay ahead of myself :) ). Jakitza can almost see the root of the problem, but she lacks information. The rest of the Hawk Maidens are still unaware of the details of that stormy night, since neither Niriko or Behari are talking, and Derrexi is not about to do it out of respect for their privacy... although the recent events might force her hand a little.

And this marks the end of this particular scene. Next week comes a little interlude, then another short scene and finally, the match! This has been a longer chapter, but I'm kind of letting things build up on their own.
