Jakitza finally reacts, and that pisses Xisve'ki to no end.
It's still this week!Things are picking up and I'm getting excited at the next pages; things are definitely going to get worse before they get any better, but they will certainly get more exciting and revealing.
I wanted to talk about something this week, but I totally forgot... So I'll just talk about Conan. Last weekend I went to watch the new movie and my feelings were very mixed. Jason Momoa did a very good job on portraying a barbarian closer to the stories and comics, but the movie itself was... all over the place. Either the director staged the fights in ways that made little sense or the editor was not sure what to put after what, but combat was an exercise in confusion. The story also had some major gaps and things were just happening because the next action scene was coming. All in all, a bit frustrating, because I had high hopes from the production values, which are actually very good. I liked all characterization, and the world-building, I just wished they were used for a better movie.
Now, Thundercats! I've been watching the new series and I'm not disappointed. I'm not overwhelmed either, but I'm still watching. In Robin's words (from the Young Justice cartoon that finally restarted), I'm simply... whelmed.
