Trust Issues

Niriko confronts Behari. Jakitza tries to put some sense on the table.

There are a couple of points in this chapter I was most eager to get to. This is one of them; or, more like the prologue of said point. I don't want to blurb about the reasons I had in writing events as they are unfolding, since it ties to one of the themes I gave the entire chapter. It's certainly character-development-related.

This weekend was kinda curious. My mom's in town on her way to her vacations somewhere else, but she stopped by a couple of days here. On Saturday I took her to the Great Temple Museum to get a look at the Tlaltecuhtli slab, the most recent and spectacular find regarding Aztec civilization, depicting the Aztec Earth Goddess. It's much, much bigger than both the Coyolxauhqui (the Moon Goddess) and the Calendar Stone side by side, which should give archaeologists and anthropologists a field day. I would have uploaded photos, but my phone's camera sucks in darkened conditions.

On completely unrelated news, I finally finished Mass Effect 1! When I first got it, my computer slowed down so much that the game wasn't enjoyable at all. Now with new computer I remembered to install it and play it, and much epic was had. My favorite NPC is Tali, and unlike my run in Dragon Age, I rotated my away team roster fairly often, but my favorite lineup was Tali/Garrus or Tali/Ashley. Now, to decide whether to get Starcraft 2 or Mass Effect 2....

Go for Mass Effect 2.

The first game was awesome enough on it's own but they really improved just about everything for the second game. I'd also pick up the Stolen Memory and Lair Of The Shadow Broker DLCs if you can, as LotSB in particular is of an even higher standard than the main game.

Got Stolen Memory and love, love, love Kasumi... not so much as Tali, but very close :) And I'm talking tactics-wise too ;)
